Why Do Women Still Struggle With Imposter Syndrome?
The Antoinettes discuss women selling themselves short because of imposter syndrome, reflect on their SOLD OUT live show & want to hear your family secrets!
The Antoinettes have hit the six month probation mark as workmates so it’s time they give one another a performance review for your listening pleasure.
And while they’re at it, they are going to unpack common pitfalls women experience when navigating the workplace - from negotiating pay rises to dealing with sexist behaviour.
You’ll hear from other listeners who share horror pay negotiation stories. And don’t worry fellas, there are tips in here for you too.
Our Sold Out Sydney Live Show Was AMAZING!
Our first live show was incredible, and it couldn’t have happened without all of our amazing listeners braving the cold and rain and joining us for laughter and tears. And of course some Antoinettes style disagreement. Thank you, so much, to everyone who came out!
A special thanks to Business Chicks for the stunning venue.
We’ll be heading to Melbourne later this year so stay tuned for info about the show and how to get your tickets!
The Merry Antoinettes - 5 things this week that made us smile
Antoinette Lattouf
1. Being in a room of support and love at our live show really felt like an enormous hug for the heart and soul
2. The discovery of a chilli + salt mix from the supermarket. I put it on absolutely everything!
3. Meeting and hitting it off with International human rights and media lawyer Jen Robinson at an Amnesty International event. We hit it off instantly and she's been a great source of wisdom and courage
4. Getting good and uninterrupted sleep the past few days. I have had some trouble sleeping of late, and so I really appreciate getting solid sleep. It is a game changer!
5. Doing karaoke with my family. Some are wonderful singers, I sound like a small animal being tortured. But sometimes simple things can bring the most joy!
Azure Antoinette
1. Space, not in the universe sense, in the sense that I can request it, make it for myself, protect it for others. Too often, we forget that we can do this. If you need space, a moment to breathe - take it!
2. My pups Bella and Harlow, dogs y’all. Don’t @ me with your cat narrative. No.
3. Creativity - just the honor of being a creative.
4. My medical team
5. My cohost, and her ability to lighten any situation with “don’t die until you answer my emails”, this is a skill.
